We are currently developing high quality homes for sale and rent.
Work started on this 60 bed extra care scheme at the end of 2016 with funding from Newark and Sherwood Homes, Newark and Sherwood District Council, Nottinghamshire County Council and the Homes and Communities Agency delivering to the University of Sterling Dementia Guidelines. The scheme is due to be completed by the end of the year and will open its doors to new residents early next year.
Once completed, Gladstone House will comprise 60 purpose-built units over three levels, including 40 extra care apartments. Facilities will also include communal areas, rooms designated for activities, a sensory garden and a commercial kitchen.
HRA Development Programme
Newark and Sherwood Homes are delivering on behalf of the council around 335 new homes across the district. The first 12 months will see the delivery of around 60-70 units across approximately 26 sites. The sites will see a mix of property types and unit numbers varying from one unit to 10 plus and will include houses, bungalows and apartments. Planning consent has been reached on 24 sites so far of this programme which is intended to run over a 5 year period, that will meet the much needed housing demand within the district.
